The Mk.III Foundation is undertaking the authentic restoration of a unique WWII airplane to ensure that the legacy of its pilots is never forgotten. The plane, a Mk.III Mustang known as FB206, is a tangible artifcat of the united efforts of three nations - America, Britain, and Poland - to preserve their homes, their beliefs, and their freedom. The restoration of FB206 is a mission to honor the coragrous men and women who turned history’s tide.

FB206 is one of very few still-existing artifacts that represent Poland’s essential contribution to the Allied victory of World War II. Our vision is to fly FB206 back across the Atlantic to the nations its pilots fought to protect and give those nations an opportunity to experience this tangible tribute to their history.
